Job summary

Alcami, a leader in transforming medicines, seeks a Manager, Engineering to oversee equipment and system performance at a cGMP manufacturing site. You will mentor engineering staff, drive reliability, and ensure safety and quality in all activities.

The role develops strategies, tracks changes and qualifications, and leads capital projects. You will represent engineering during client audits and regulatory inspections. On-site, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm at Morrisville, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2+ years of experience in management roles or relevant experience.
• Strong technical skills for area managing.
• Good business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the Engineering team.
• Directs engineering and capital project activities for the site.
• Direct implementation of improvements to reduce failures and errors.
• Oversees multiple capital projects and operational improvement projects, DEVs, CAPAs, and/or Change Controls while ensuring their success in meeting their respective objectives.
• Represent the Engineering activities during client audits and regulatory inspections.
• Establish and maintain a system of metrics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of engineering activities.
• Promotes a safe environment for work.
• Participates in the hiring process of other employees.
• Manges training and performance evaluations.
