Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a GMP Recycle Technician in Altavista, VA to support the recycle, reuse, and reclamation program. You will sort and collect recyclable materials, maintain logs, and uphold safety standards as part of a team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of recycling experience; CPR/First Aid is a plus and forklift certification may be required. Shift patterns vary with 2-on/2-off cycles, offering $15–$16 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent combination of training and experience – preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
• May be required to have forklift certified.
• Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA is required or preferred.
• Completed all safety and task training certifications.
