Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Recycle Technician in Irving, TX for evening shifts. The role involves collecting, salvaging, and sorting recyclable materials and maintaining organized dock and collection areas.

You will work with a team, follow safety procedures, and use PPE while supporting environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years recycling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and is open to CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1–2 years of recycling experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus; forklift and hazardous waste training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, salvage, and sort recyclable materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials for recycling streams.
• Maintain dock and collection areas; keep logs and schedules up to date.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE; communicate professionally with team and supervisors.

May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified. May be required to have Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA.
