Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a GMP Recycle Technician in Casa Grande, Arizona to support the recycle, reuse, and reclamation program. You will maintain logs, sort materials, and follow safety procedures while collaborating with a team and customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of recycling experience; CPR/First Aid and forklift certifications are a plus. 12-hour rotating shifts pay $17.50–$18.50 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of recycling experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Hazardous Waste Handling Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials and maintain dock and collection areas.

• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintain clean work area

• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Maintain logs and schedules
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems and importance of the environment

Education and/ or Experience

High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent combination of training and experience – preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license
• Completed all safety and task training certification
• May be required to be forklift certified
• May be required to have Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA
• Completed all safety and task training certifications
