Job summary

Lannett Company in Indiana seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee operations in the Manufacturing department ensuring GMP compliance, safety and efficiency. This role provides direct supervision and coaching to Production Operators and Team Leaders, with a focus on maintaining clean, compliant facilities and executing SOPs to regulatory standards.

You will drive daily performance, mentor staff, and ensure resources are available to achieve high safety and quality levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a GMP production environment.
• Strong GMP principles and regulatory understanding.
• Process-oriented and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Review staff performance and develop individuals within operations.
• Ensure personnel safety and provide required safety equipment.
• Communicate objectives to achieve quality, safety and efficiency.
• Assign tasks and guide employees per policies.
• Administer company policies affecting subordinates.
• Adhere to cGMP, regulatory mandates and quality requirements.
• Prepare and approve management documents (SOPs, deviations, work instructions).
• Complete end-of-shift reports and corrective actions.
• Assess issues and recommend improvements to productivity.
• Assist with SAP transactional issues.
• Mentor operators and team leaders on new concepts.
• Manage training and skill development for the team.
• Evaluate achievements against standards and communicate expectations.
