Job summary

dsm-firmenich is hiring an Industrial Reliability Technician based in Arcadia, WI. The role focuses on owning the reliability of production assets, facility infrastructure, and the wastewater treatment plant, with a GMP-focused approach to safety and SOP adherence.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to stabilize throughput, maintain HVAC and utilities, troubleshoot pumps and controls, and interpret technical drawings to diagnose root causes.

Qualifications

• Vocational or associate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year of hands-on industry experience minimum.
• Commitment to training; Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00 for 4 weeks.
• GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food maintenance background with diagnostics and PM execution.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability of production assets, facility infrastructure, and wastewater plant.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to stabilize throughput and reduce downtime.
• Maintain HVAC, hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, sensors, boilers, compressors, and substations.
• Troubleshoot faults on pumps, pneumatic controls, valves, agitators, and bearings.
• Interpret blueprints and manuals to identify root causes and actions.
• Fabricate/rebuild components using drill press, welders, and power tools.
• Install and overhaul equipment to support process improvements and compliance.
