Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or closely related science.
• Related experience in GMP or FDA-regulated testing labs preferred.
• Strong understanding of microbiology fundamentals, aseptic technique, and basic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological (AML) and endotoxin (LAL) testing on water, in-process, raw materials, and environmental samples.
• Prepare reagents and equipment in sterile environments (HEPA hoods).
• Count CFU on Petri plates and perform sterility testing.
• Conduct Growth Promotion and Biological Indicator testing.
• Isolate and maintain microbial cultures and frozen stocks.
• Perform microbial identification tests (microscopy, biochemical, genetic).
• Enter data into LIMS and review results against specifications.
• Maintain logs for instrument usage, calibration, and sample tracking.
