Job summary

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions in San Diego, CA is seeking a Quality Control Support Analyst 3 to support our Microbiology Team. The primary function is to test and release raw materials, sub-assemblies or finished goods, following GMP/GLP practices.

Responsibilities include routine testing, data analysis, inventory maintenance, lab upkeep, equipment calibration, and training of QC analysts. Educational requirement is a B.A./B.S. in Biological Science or Chemistry with 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GMP/GLP.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing including release testing, performance testing, analytical testing, bioburden testing, environmental monitoring using GMP/GLP practices.
• Performs data analysis and results interpretations comparing to specifications, validity criteria, alert limit.
• Responsible for maintaining product and QC material inventories.
• Maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory, stocking shelves/drawers with testing materials.
• Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, calibrating or submitting items for calibration; maintain training records.
• Revising QC documents (SOPs, QSs) and participating in Lab Investigations and OOS investigations.
• Training QC analysts on test methods.
