Job summary

Catalent's San Diego facility is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to conduct GMP manufacturing of solid and liquid oral dosage forms for Phase I/II trials. The role emphasizes precision, SOP compliance, and meticulous documentation in a dynamic team environment.

The position is 100% onsite, with shift Mon-Fri 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, located in San Diego, CA. The candidate will gain exposure to spray-drying, process development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a regulated

Qualifications

• 1+ years of GMP manufacturing experience.
• Experience documenting batch records and SOP adherence.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture GMP products following SOPs and maintain batch records.
• Provide guidance and training for junior operators.
• Organize equipment layout and workflows for safe operations.
• Assemble, operate, and disassemble production equipment as needed.
• Operate automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Prepare materials and equipment for production.
• Escalate issues to engineering/production coordinators.
• Support equipment turnover and cleaning/validation activities.
• Proactively prepare equipment for upcoming processes and document production comments.
