Job summary

Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, IN, is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to support start-up activities and bring manufacturing equipment into service. The operator will become an expert in their assigned area and travel domestically and internationally to collaborate and learn.

Upon startup completion, the operator will oversee API production with a safety-first, quality-first mindset, handling diverse unit operations and manufacturing skills in a GMP setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility or area start-up environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple requests.
• Understanding of FDA guidelines and cGMP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to safety, quality, and environmental requirements and communicate any adverse events.
• Operate processes and equipment per batch records and SOPs to meet production schedule.
• Perform daily monitoring, testing, and cleaning to keep equipment in good condition.
• Apply Health, Safety & Environmental standards to GMP duties.
• Monitor data on equipment use and performance to anticipate reliability issues.
• Communicate with shifts during handovers and participate in daily huddles.
