Job summary

Amgen seeks a Manager of Process Maintenance in North Carolina to lead a team responsible for planning, maintenance, and reliability of GMP and non-GMP equipment. You will report to the Sr.

F&E Manager and drive continuous improvement across the Maintenance group in a fast-paced biotech environment. The role requires direct people management experience, a track record in regulated settings, and the ability to manage budgets while coordinating across departments.

Qualifications

• Direct people management and leadership experience leading teams, projects or resources.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP, OSHA, EPA) is a plus.
• Ability to manage budgets and department resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Maintenance team to improve reliability and uptime.
• Set strategies and goals; monitor progress with KPIs and MAP process.
• Coordinate resources for capital projects and maintenance shutdowns.
• Balance staffing, training, and scheduling to cover shifts as needed.
• Ensure staff training and cross-training across GMP functions.
