Job summary

Advanced Manufacturing Tech Solutions (AMTSOL) in North Carolina seeks an experienced Project Manager to define and run the Site Maintenance Programme at a GMP biopharmaceutical facility. You will coordinate maintenance planning, engineering support, and operational initiatives to ensure readiness and compliance with site requirements.

The role collaborates with Site Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Facilities, and external vendors to deliver on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management, site maintenance, engineering, or facilities operations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional site teams, procurement stakeholders, and technical vendors.
• Good understanding of maintenance programmes, manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Familiarity with GMP, maintenance planning, contractor management, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site maintenance programmes, engineering support activities, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with site maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement teams to align project priorities and execution plans.
• Manage technical vendors, OEMs, contractors, and external service providers, ensuring timely delivery of agreed scope.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, resource planning, procurement activities, and technical dependencies.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives, equipment upgrades, and planned shutdown activities.
• Develop Spare parts strategy and implement the ERP program for the same.
• Track project milestones, budgets, risks, vendor performance, and overall programme progress.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, site procedures, and applicable quality requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, resolve execution challenges, and drive timely project completion.
