Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to support the safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment within a GMP environment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure GMP, safety, and proper documentation.

Competenze

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or related technical environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Reading and understanding technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and equipment instructions.
• Ability to follow GMP requirements, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and equipment-related issues to identify root causes and restore equipment operation.
• Repair, adjust, replace, and install mechanical components and equipment as required.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records following GMP requirements.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols while performing tasks.
