Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and improve electrical, automation, and production support systems within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

This role supports reliable plant operations through advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to equipment failures while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting with PLC, instrumentation, motors and drives; software proficiency.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, automation, and production support systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, manuals, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
Complete work orders accurately in SAP CMMS and document maintenance activities.
