Job summary

Catalent, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Logistics to lead shipping/receiving and oversee cross-site logistics at the Harmans/BWI campus. You will manage Supervisors and Materials Associates, ensure GMP-compliant handling of materials, and back up the Senior Manager for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, compliance, KPIs, and coordination of domestic/international shipments. On-site role with strong emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ ASCM/APICS certification (CLTD or CSCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping, receiving, and off-site operations through Supervisors and tier meetings.
• Plan staffing, shift coverage, and overtime across BWI shipping, BioPark, and Cavalier.
• Coach Supervisors and Materials Associates; maintain training records and growth.
• Serve as backup for Senior Manager, Logistics; support 24/7 site-wide operations.
• Ensure inbound materials are received, inspected, labeled, and stored with proper JDE status.
• Manage storage conditions, temperature monitoring, and alarm response.
• Execute cycle counts and investigate discrepancies; support MRB disposition.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with documentation and compliance.
• Support logistics systems improvements including JDE integration.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, OSHA, DOT; author SOPs and support audits.
• Own deviations, CAPAs, and change controls; drive on-time closures.
• Track KPIs and drive Lean improvements; promote strong safety culture.
