Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a critical team ensuring materials, samples, and finished products move safely, efficiently, and compliantly within our GMP manufacturing operation.

You will drive operational excellence, mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate across Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, and Material Sampling to support manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, supply chain, or GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience developing employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements, quality systems, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience utilizing SAP or similar inventory and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Raw Material Sampling, Inventory Control, and Forward Pick Area functions.
• Develop, coach, and train Logistics Specialists while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and disciplined execution.
• Ensure all logistics activities are performed in compliance with GMP requirements, quality systems, SOPs, and site procedures.
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain audit and inspection readiness while representing Logistics during customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, material allocations, product shipments, material returns, and warehouse operations to support manufacturing schedules.
• Review and improve processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and business value.
