Job summary

Lonza Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a critical team ensuring materials, samples, and finished products move safely and compliantly across GMP operations. You will drive performance, coach a team of logisticians, and maintain audit readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Rotating 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on a 2-2-3 schedule, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to process improvements while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, supply chain, or GMP-regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehousing, and material handling operations.
• Experience developing employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements, quality systems, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing, Raw Material Sampling, Inventory Control, and Forward Pick Area functions.
• Develop, coach, and train Logistics Specialists while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and disciplined execution.
• Ensure all logistics activities are performed in compliance with GMP requirements, quality systems, SOPs, and site procedures.
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain audit and inspection readiness while representing Logistics during customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, material allocations, product shipments, material returns, and warehouse operations to support manufacturing schedules.
• Review and improve processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and business value.
