Job summary

Axogen, Inc. in Vandalia, OH seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and building systems supporting temperature‑controlled storage of biologic products.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED, 0–2 years of facilities maintenance, and willingness to work 3rd shift. GMP/regulated experience and CMRT/EPA 608 credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am).
• Preferred: CMRT, EPA 608, electrical license, GMP/regulated experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical infrastructure.
• Execute and manage preventive maintenance according to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee facility equipment modifications and layout changes as needed.
• Manage contractors and vendors ensuring GMP and safety compliance.
