Forge Biologics in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a GMP Equipment Monitoring Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain manufacturing readiness in a real AAV gene therapy environment. You will monitor bioreactors and chromatography skids, support facility monitoring, and keep cleanroom readiness as production runs proceed.

The role emphasizes teamwork with Process Development, QA, QC, and Facilities & Engineering, plus accurate GMP documentation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in a scientific or engineering field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GMP manufacturing equipment, ensuring parameters stay within defined limits.
• Document status and alarms per GMP requirements.
• Assist with night-shift operations: setup, changeover, and cleanup.
• Stock and organize materials for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with Facilities & Engineering for equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain GMP logbooks and manufacturing records.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, and manufacturing teams.
• Follow gowning and cleanroom protocols.
• Support improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.
