Job summary

Orca Bio in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Specialist, Facilities to manage facilities, utilities, and production assets across multiple production sites. You will use CMMS to maintain asset data, labeling, status, and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance to support GMP-compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering/Life sciences or equivalent, plus 4 years in GMP manufacturing facility maintenance. On-site work at Orca Bio Sacramento locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Facility Management or equivalent technical experience.
• 4 years of GMP manufacturing facility experience including equipment operation and maintenance execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system/equipment performance issues.
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance and calibration.
• Manage assets and CMMS data including labeling, status, and certifications.
• Review service provider documentation and close tasks in CMMS.
• Ensure facilities, utilities, production and lab assets meet GMP standards.
• Lead or participate in improving equipment standards and processes.
• Onboard new assets and maintain CMMS records.

Education
