Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking an Associate, Cell Therapy Production to join the Sacramento facility. You will operate advanced manufacturing equipment, adhere to SOPs, maintain documentation, and support GMP manufacturing runs in a cross-functional team.

Requirements include a BS in biology (MS preferred) and 1–2 years in process sciences or manufacturing with aseptic technique experience. On-site, day shift; overtime may be required. Competitive benefits and equity available.

Qualifications

B.S. degree required in biology or related field.
1–2 years of experience in process sciences, discovery, or manufacturing.
Experience with aseptic techniques.
M.S. degree in biology or related field preferred.
GMP and lab-scale manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and closely monitor advanced manufacturing equipment to support the production of cell therapy products.
Follow and execute SOPs and batch records for production activities.
Identify and resolve equipment or process issues; escalate as needed.
Complete all required training to maintain technical proficiency and comply with cGMP standards.
Operate, monitor, clean, and prepare automated equipment for cell processing in Grade B/C cleanrooms; wear full PPE.
Contribute to continuous improvement, including efficiency, compliance, and change control support.
Participate in on-call rotation for weekend/holiday shifts.
