Aldridge Electric is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. You will manage Project Controls for major projects, partnering with our Project Management teams to deliver on project needs and ensure financial accuracy.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 3+ years in accounting or finance, with construction experience preferred. You will use MS Office and Google Workspace to support GMP cost control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in accounting, finance, or related industry.
• Construction experience is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Align GMP with baseline schedule to confirm labor and equipment forecasts.
• Coordinate estimating, project management, field operations, and engineering for financial accuracy.
• Validate revisions and maintain a GMP Risk Register.
• Develop bid packages aligned with GMP breakdown.
• Analyze subcontractor invoices for GMP compliance.
• Track buyout savings, procurement variances, and committed costs.
• Prepare GMP updates, reconciliation reports, and status briefings.
• Reconcile final project costs against GMP and document lessons learned.
