Aldridge Electric in the United States (Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC) seeks a Project Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will manage project controls for major projects, partnering with Project Management to deliver on project needs and act as a business partner between operations and internal departments.

You will align the GMP with the baseline schedule, coordinate across estimating, PM, field ops, and engineering for financial accuracy, and maintain a GMP risk register.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related industry.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Align GMP with baseline schedule to confirm labor and equipment forecasts.
• Coordinate between estimating, project management, field operations, and engineering for financial accuracy.
• Validate revisions to ensure changes are incorporated into the GMP.
• Maintain a formal GMP Risk Register.
• Develop bid packages aligned with the GMP breakdown.
• Analyze subcontractor invoices for GMP compliance.
• Track buyout savings, procurement variances, and committed costs against the GMP.
• Maintain GMP allowances, contingencies, and cost transfers documentation.
• Monitor potential change orders to ensure alignment within the GMP.
• Ensure cost reporting ties back to GMP structure.
