Job summary

Actalent seeks a Document Control Technician in Redmond, WA, to format GMP documents, convert templates, and maintain accuracy across SOPs, WIs, and Master Batch Records. You will manage the onsite document control room, scan records, and support migrations to new systems.

The role requires 1 year of document control experience, expert Word skills, and strong organizational and communication abilities in a fast-paced QA environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in document control or administrative support.
• Certified Expert in Microsoft Word or equivalent skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and other Office suite tools.
• Experience with GMP documents or in a regulated documentation environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Format GMP documents using approved templates to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Convert existing documents into new template formats while preserving content integrity.
• Update headers/footers, fix broken links, apply styles, and correct table formatting.
• Maintain document accuracy across SOPs, Work Instructions, and Master Batch Records.
• Assist with onsite document control room management and archival of documentation.
• Execute scanning of GMP records for electronic retention.
• Support document/record migration to new systems or repositories.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely document updates and revisions.
• Apply document control practices in a regulated environment to support QA objectives.
• Communicate clearly to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Work independently and as part of a QA team in a fast-paced environment.
