Job summary

Bachem Holding AG is looking for a Chemist in Indiana, Pennsylvania, to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients in a cGMP environment. Responsibilities include operating equipment, synthesizing APIs, and following GMP directions. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent experience, as well as good communication and organizational skills. Qualifications

• Experience in GMP manufacturing with knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations preferred.
• Experience in the manufacture of peptides and oligonucleotides preferred.
• Capable of following GMP guidelines and housekeeping rules.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in a cGMP regulated environment.
• Install, operate, and maintain equipment for manufacturing and testing.
• Perform solid phase and liquid phase synthesis and purification processes.

Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time

Detail-oriented

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems

Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to work with hazardous materials

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field (or 10+ years relevant experience)
