Job summary

Concerto Biosciences is seeking a Laboratory Operations Technician to support the move to a new lab and maintain a compliant, efficient laboratory environment in Cambridge/Boston, MA. You will help refine processes, manage inventory, and ensure safety and preparedness for microbiology experiments and manufacturing workflows.

You will work closely with leadership and scientists, gaining exposure to discovery science and product manufacturing while developing new skills and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering).
• Ability to work on site at Concerto’s laboratory in the Cambridge/Boston, MA area.
• Demonstrated excellence in meticulous bookkeeping and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory infrastructure and support lab personnel.
• Assist with move to and setup of new lab spaces for discovery science and manufacturing.
• Maximize efficiency through standardized laboratory practices across microbiology and manufacturing workflows.
• Manage safety, vendor interfacing, inventory, and biobank planning/tracking.
• Produce materials for experiments and coordinate procurement of consumables.
• Support GMP manufacturing workflows for cosmetics and food when needed.
