Job summary

Excellos Labs, LLC, a newly formed OrganaBio subsidiary in Downtown San Diego, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate II, Cell Therapy. You will perform GMP aseptic cell culture activities including media prep, cell thawing, expansion, harvesting, and cryopreservation in a cleanroom environment, following BPRs and SOPs.

The role involves maintaining equipment, assisting with deviations, document control, and cross-functional teamwork to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year industry experience, or an associate degree with 2+ years experience in biotech.
• Strong aseptic technique and GMP understanding.
• Proficient in cell counting and viability calculations.
• Ability to work in a team and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic cell culture activities in GMP cleanroom.
• Document tasks and verify SOPs and BPRs.
• Maintain production spreadsheets and report deviations.
• Set up for sterility testing and perform flow cytometry assays.
