Job summary

Emergent BioSolutions is seeking a Bioprocess Associate to support GMP manufacturing across upstream, downstream or final formulation. You will operate aseptically with bioreactors and precision equipment, document batch records, and assist in GMP documentation revisions.

A strong foundation in GMP and scientific training is required to join a team focused on safety and quality. The role emphasizes collaboration with QA during audits, adherence to policy, and maintaining audit-ready cleanrooms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific, Engineering or Biotech field with 2+ years’ experience in biologic production under GMP.
• Strong knowledge of GMP principles and documentation of batch records and forms.
• Excellent documentation skills including batch records and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operates pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment (autoclaves, incubators, bioreactors, centrifuges) in aseptic conditions.
• Adheres to GMP standards, safety procedures and site policies.
• Communicates status of daily production tasks with team and supervisors.
• Documents logbooks, forms, solution prep and batch records per GMP requirements.
• May assist in revising GMP documentation and ensuring audit readiness of cleanrooms.
• Supports QA during audits and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
