Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare is seeking a GME Program Coordinator to oversee the administrative operations of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the GME Department in Los Angeles. You will serve as a liaison among residents, faculty, hospital departments, medical schools, and sponsoring institutions.

You will support residency program operations, trainee onboarding, compliance, recruitment, scheduling, and budget management while ensuring ACGME requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience coordinating residency or healthcare education programs advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and scheduling for residency and GME programs.
• Support onboarding for residents, trainees, and medical students, including rotations and compliance.
• Assist with accreditation activities, program evaluations, and document preparation.
• Maintain trainee records, licensure, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Support recruitment logistics, interview scheduling, and onboarding materials.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure HIPAA compliance and data integrity.
