Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) seeks a Manager, Medical Education to oversee the GME department, ensuring compliance with ACGME and applicable regulations while partnering with program directors and leadership. The role focuses on operations, accreditation activities, budgeting, and program development to advance physician education.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage multiple priorities, support accreditation readiness, and drive continuous improvement across residency and fellowship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, human services or related field.
• 5+ years of training and/or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Medical Education staff and handle performance management.
• Oversee GME operating budgets around $7 million; ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Advise DIO, Program Directors, faculty, residents, and leadership.
• Direct and monitor compliance with residency/fellowship accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate institutional and program-level accreditation activities.
• Manage daily residency and fellowship program operations.
• Ensure accreditation readiness and continuous quality improvement documentation.
