Job summary

Midwestern University, with campuses in Downers Grove and Glendale, Arizona, seeks a GME Manager to oversee accreditation readiness, budget support, and day-to-day GME operations across residency and fellowship programs.

The role partners with the DIO, program directors, and coordinators to advance GME priorities, maintain compliance, and improve processes in a large academic medical center.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of graduate medical education experience in an academic medical center or university.
• Experience coordinating ACGME accreditation activities across multiple sites.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation for ACGME accreditation site visits and ensure readiness.
• Manage ADS data accuracy and annual program/institutional changes.
• Oversee GMEC meetings, orientation, and program evaluations.
• Coordinate program letters of agreement and affiliation agreements.
• Monitor recruitment systems (ERAS/NRMP) and reporting for quality improvement.
