Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Director of Graduate Medical Education to oversee accreditation across programs and manage institutional education operations at multiple campuses. The role includes guiding readiness for ACGME reviews and developing program oversight with hospital leadership.

You will collaborate with the designated institutional official, program directors, and HR to ensure trainee progress, faculty development, and compliance with regulatory standards within the HCA network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years’ experience in graduate medical education or healthcare medical education setting.
• Preferred: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years’ experience in a graduate medical education setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of graduate medical education experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required. Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accreditation processes for institutional and program accreditation across specialties.
• Direct administrative operations and daily management of all medical education programs.
• Support readiness for ACGME reviews and assist in action plans for underperforming programs.
• Assist hospitals with new program creation and residency/learner onboarding and HR processes.
