Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Program Coordinator to support Graduate Medical Education by coordinating operational, administrative, financial and accreditation activities. You will serve as the primary liaison among resident physicians, faculty, SIU School of Medicine, and Memorial Health departments and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, education, public administration, or related field required and at least three years of directly related experience.
  • Associate degree with 3-5 years directly related GME or healthcare administration experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of directly related GME, medical education, or healthcare administration experience required.
  • Experience maintaining regulatory/accreditation compliance and cross-institutional relationships.

Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

Coordinates the operational, administrative, financial, and accreditation-related activities supporting Graduate Medical Education programs at Memorial Health. Serves as a primary liaison among resident physicians, faculty, SIU School of Medicine, and Memorial Health departments and leadership. Supports medical staff office activities. Maintains program documentation, reporting, and communications; supports compliance with ACGME, institutional, and regulatory requirements; and promotes a positive resident experience and continuous accreditation readiness. Embodies the Memorial Health Values of Safety, Integrity, Quality, and Stewardship in support of the organization’s mission and vision.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Education, Public Administration, or a related field required and at least three years of directly related experience required.
  • Associate degree with 3-5 years of directly related GME or healthcare administration experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Licensure/Certification/Registry
  • No licensure, certification, or registration is required.
  • Certification through the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (C-TAGME) is preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of directly related GME, medical education, or healthcare administration experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining regulatory/accreditation compliance and cross-institutional relationships.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of ACGME requirements, graduate medical education operations, and healthcare administration.
  • Proficiency in data management, reporting, and residency management or accreditation data systems.
  • Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal relations skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality of resident and program information.
Pay Transparency

$22.46 - $34.82

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
