Job summary

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Maintenance Operations Center (GMOC) Controller located at the Missile Defense Integration and Operation Center (MDIOC) at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado.

This Field Operations role requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potential short-notice deployments, and possible relocations to meet customer and program requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of operations-based experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, mission critical environment.
• Must be willing to work any shift and overtime, including weekends/holidays; may include travel/deployments.
• Willing and able to relocate domestically/internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Frequently use and apply operational concept analysis standards and techniques.
• Research, analyze, and compile complex technical data for the GMD program in operational and test environments.
• Maintain 24/7/365 configuration control of the GMD System supporting MDA and the warfighter.
• Perform asset management in development, operations, and sustainment activities.
• Provide situational awareness reporting for customers and Boeing leadership.
• Facilitate system maintenance execution and real-time deconfliction.
