Vanguard Auto Group in Sherman seeks a high-energy automotive salesperson to join our team. You will guide customers through the buying process, present GM vehicles, and build lasting relationships to enhance the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years General Motors sales experience.
• Friendly, competitive personality; adept at handling objections and pricing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership.
• Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening to their needs.
• Work with employees and customers to develop relationships and enhance the sales process.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and planned activities.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $145,000.00 plus per year based on performance

Your Responsibilities

• Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
• Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
• Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Your Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
• 3+ Years General Motors Sales Experience
• Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
• Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed and working in a team environment
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
• Bi-Lingual a plus
