Job summary

BuyWander is seeking a General Manager to launch and lead our Portland warehouse store. You will oversee daily operations, hire and guide a 45+ person team, and drive KPIs across revenue, fulfillment, and customer experience.

This hands-on role requires building SOPs, improving processes, and partnering with Tech, Support, and Executives to scale operations and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail operations leadership.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to build teams and scale operations from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Launch and lead day-to-day operations for our warehouse store.
• Build, coach, and inspire a team of 45+ across warehouse, front desk, and retail.
• Own store KPIs across revenue, inventory throughput, fulfillment, customer experience, and staffing.
• Create and execute SOPs for receiving, processing, picking, customer pickup, bin replenishment, and daily close.
• Work cross-functionally with our tech, support, and executive teams to launch new tools.
