Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking ambitious, fast-learning professionals for the General Manager Trainee program to develop into nationwide leadership roles. This role focuses on propane operations, logistics, safety, and customer service, with hands-on coaching and real-world business exposure.

The program prepares high-potential individuals for future General Manager opportunities across Ferrellgas’ network. You will gain experience in budgeting, KPIs, and workforce leadership while supporting sales

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to relocate after approximately 12 months in the development program is required.
• Ability to travel within region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of propane operations, logistics, safety, customer service, and business management.
• Partner with experienced leaders to drive operational performance and team success.
• Develop leadership skills through hands-on training, coaching, and real-world business experience.
• Support sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer retention initiatives.
• Gain exposure to budgeting, KPIs, workforce leadership, and P&L management.
• Prepare for future General Manager opportunities within the company.
