Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Team Leader in Spartanburg, SC. You will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring guest experience commitments are met and store standards are maintained. You will oversee daily tasks such as stocking, pricing, signing, and merchandising to support sales goals.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and the ability to train team members across shifts. The position is full-time and on-site, with opportunities to grow within Target’s retail

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest experience commitments.
• Understanding of GM operations and inventory management.
• Ability to lead and develop hourly team members.
• Ability to train and coach team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create a positive store experience.
• Train and coach hourly team members to improve performance.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to hit department and store goals.
• Manage stock, pricing, signage and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Ensure product is in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
