Job summary

Good Carbon Co. seeks a General Manager to lead Community, its property management and community operations division. You will own the division’s P&L and drive strategic priorities, capital planning, and performance across a multifamily portfolio.

You’ll partner with ownership, leadership, and operations teams to deliver strong financial results, scalable growth, and an exceptional resident experience while developing leaders and building a resilient organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in multifamily property or facilities management, real estate operations, or comparable operating business.

Responsibilities

• Own the division’s full P&L including revenue growth, expense management, profitability, and NOI.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and long‑term capital planning.
• Establish and execute annual/quarterly strategic priorities for the division.
• Develop leaders, strengthen organizational structure, and build leadership bench strength.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and leadership, delivering clear performance updates and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure risk management, regulatory compliance, and resident experience standards are met.
