Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. in Houston, TX, seeks a General Manager to plan and oversee regional operations, ensuring safety and profitability on MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution projects.

You will coordinate with the President, Regional and Project Managers, manage client relationships, and drive growth across data center and mission-critical initiatives while maintaining strict safety standards and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Experience with Primavera, HCSS, and similar PM software.
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee regional operations to ensure safe, profitable delivery.
• Set strategic goals with the President; coordinate with Regional and Project Managers.
• Manage client relationships and network within the industry.
• Support data center and mission-critical projects focusing on MV duct banks and substations.
