Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a General Manager to oversee a new Italian fine dining and wine concept, directing both front- and back-of-house operations to deliver elevated guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in high-volume fine dining, with proven P&L and team leadership. The role partners with culinary and beverage leaders to ensure top-quality service, wine program excellence, and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years restaurant management experience in high-volume fine dining.
• Lead and develop large teams (~100 employees).
• Proven track record managing revenue, labor, and costs to targets.
• In-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining service.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and guest relations skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct all front- and back-of-house operations to ensure elevated guest experiences.
• Lead, train, and develop management and hourly teams with hospitality and accountability.
• Maintain fine dining service standards and handle guest feedback or service recovery.
• Partner with the executive chef and beverage director to uphold food quality and wine program excellence.
• Manage P&L, labor, inventory, budgets, and key operating metrics to achieve financial goals.
• Build relationships with local businesses and drive incremental sales through marketing, private dining, and events.
