Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Wisconsin seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily retail, fuel, restaurant, and truck care operations. You will lead a team, manage processes, and execute strategies to grow sales while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will review profit and loss statements, drive merchandising and inventory excellence, and partner with leadership to hire and develop staff in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million.
• 2+ years deciphering budgets and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations up to and potentially including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting to include analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting changes to capture opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition.
