Job summary

Target's General Merchandise team seeks team members to deliver a friendly guest experience, keep shelves stocked, and support smooth store operations. You will greet guests, help locate products, and process transactions with care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, restocking, pricing, and maintaining backrooms while adhering to safety policies and assisting with digital fulfillment as needed.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture.
• Experience in retail basics: department sales trends and stock replenishment.
• Ability to support daily/weekly workloads to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests warmly and assist them.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and friendly goodbye.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, stocking shelves, organizing backrooms, pricing, and signage for GM areas.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Follow procedures to maintain product accuracy, stock levels, and safe store conditions.
• Support guest services and digital fulfillment activities as needed, including pickup orders.
