Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to deliver a friendly guest experience, assist shoppers, and maintain organized shelves in a fast-paced store environment. You will help with replenishment, pricing, and store cleanliness while supporting a team that prioritizes guest satisfaction.

Flexible hours and physical, active work are common in this role, which includes standing for long periods, lifting up to 44 pounds, and assisting with digital fulfillment and checkout duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and helping them find what they need.
• Assist guests and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Support team members and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Move products and maintain shelves, pricing, and backroom organization according to plan.
• Follow safety procedures and, if certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise.
• Assist with back-up cashier duties and digital fulfillment processes as needed.
