Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to support a guest-first store experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet guests, help them locate products, resolve issues, and ensure accurate replenishment and pricing on the sales floor.

The role requires teamwork, adaptability to varying shifts, and adherence to safety and store policies. Responsibilities include stocking, organizing backroom, processing orders, and assisting with digital fulfillment as needed.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet, 10ft: be friendly, 4ft: greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm interaction
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Follow all Target policies and safety procedures to maintain a safe, compliant workplace
