Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to help guests and keep the store running smoothly. You will greet shoppers, locate items, restock shelves, manage pricing and signing, and assist with digital fulfillment when needed.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, learn store procedures, and join a team that values guest service, efficiency, and safety. Training is provided, and shifts may vary including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests at 10ft, 4ft, and during interactions with a warm, helpful approach
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers while staying positive and respectful
• Assist with merchandise receiving, restocking, backroom organization, and price/sign setup
