Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert in Houston, TX. This role focuses on creating an easy, inspiring guest experience, assisting guests, and maintaining product availability on the sales floor and backroom. You’ll work with a team to greet guests, stock shelves, and handle digital fulfillment as needed.

Expected to adapt to a fast-paced store environment, follow safety rules, and participate in training. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to remain focused in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
