Job summary

Target is looking for a General Merchandise Expert to deliver a friendly guest experience and support everyday operations in our store. You will greet guests, help them locate items, and ensure pricing, stocking, and merchandising are accurate and inviting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient daily tasks to meet sales goals. Ideal candidates are adaptable to a fast-paced environment, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and comfortable using handheld scanners and store

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests, assist and resolve issues, and thank them at the end of every transaction.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Support back-room organization, restocking shelves, and maintaining product availability and signage across GM areas.
• Follow safety policies, assist with digital fulfillment processes, and maintain a compliant workplace.
