Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to support a guest-first shopping experience within our store. You will assist guests, stock shelves, and help maintain a friendly, efficient shopping environment across GM areas.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing replenishment, pricing, and sign updates, and supporting digital fulfillment processes. A fast-paced, team-oriented role with opportunities to grow skills in retail operations.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture across the store
• Retail operations including replenishment, pricing, and shelf maintenance
• Ability to handle cash and operate scanners and other tech as directed

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
• Greet guests at various touchpoints and assist needs
• Help guests find products and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers as needed
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, and price/sign maintenance
• Operate power equipment if certified
• Follow procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and store profitability
• Support guest services like back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes
• All other duties based on business needs
