Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert. You will deliver a friendly guest experience, support operations, pricing, shelf replenishment and backroom organization to ensure product availability and an easy shopping experience. Training will cover store procedures, safety, and guest interaction across busy GM areas.

The role requires physical activity, ability to work varying shifts, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on guest care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service and a guest-first culture.
• Knowledge of retail fundamentals such as sales trends and inventory.
• Ability to execute daily/weekly tasks to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• Manage stocking, backroom organization, pricing activities and signage for GM areas.
• Support guest services and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, pickup orders).
• Follow Target policies, safety procedures and report hazards to keep a safe workplace.
